Microfinance Network manager

Mission :
PAMIGA is recruiting its Network Manager. He/she will be in charge of promoting and expanding the Network, will facilitate performance benchmarking among MFI members, stimulate innovations and accompany individual development.

Job description / Responsibilities :
The Network Manager will be trusted to :
· Define a development strategy for the network and its members.
· Assess the new MFI applications.
· Implement and/or coordinate on-site technical support missions to member MFIs and monitor impact : business plans, new product development, HR policy...
· Organize and conduct thematic workshops and exchange forums.
· Monitor financial and social performances of MFI members.
· Ensure a strategic watch on the microfinance sector : evolution of practices, new actors, competition...
· Raise resources for the activities of the Network and its members.
· Work closely with the Advisory and Investment Departments for consistence and synergy.

PAMIGA Network's objective is to increase the number of its members from 17 in 2009 to 30 in 2011 and 50 in 2015.

Profile :
· Master Degree in finance, economics or business administration.
· 10 years of working experience in banking, microfinance, consulting, business development. At least, 3 years operations experience in developing countries.
· Strong track record in meeting clients' needs (MFI) and problem solving skills, ability to motivate and work collaboratively with multiple audiences.
· Good knowledge of international best practices in microfinance / access to finance and the various actors present in the sector.
· Fluent in French and English.

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team, good interpersonal and leadership skills, and proven ability to coordinate technical and strategic workshops.

Position :
Office in Paris, 7 travels per year (2 weeks each) to Africa and some short seminars in Europe an USA.
Position available immediately.
