The Liechstenstein Development Service's strategy (LED), which is particularly oriented towards Africa, has decided to award a financial support to PAMIGA for the development of rural MFIs in Africa.

IFAD awards a financial support for the process of MFIs' grouping in Mali and Burkina Faso.
The IFAD (International Fund for Agricultural Development) Western and Central Africa Department awarded a grant to facilitate the grouping of rural and urban microfinance institutions in Mali and Burkina Faso. Indeed, the new microfinance law voted in the WAEMU region enables the transformation of MFIs from a legal point of view, and eases the way for MFIs' grouping or building alliances.
